Thanksgiving Crafts

Here are 2 simple Thanksgiving-themed crafts that I made with my kids, B and K.

Thankful Leaf Collage:

Items Needed:
construction paper
marker/pen
glue
foot of yarn (optional)

Look at leaves or draw vague leaf shapes from memory.  Cut out leaves (I let my kids practice cutting them).  Have kids name the things they are thankful for.  Glue onto construction paper or poster board.

Hand-Feather Turkeys

Items Needed:
construction paper
feathers (optional)
goggle eyes (optional)
marker/pen
glue

Trace and cut out 3 hands (my kids and I used my hand, then one of each of theirs for varying sizes, but can use the same size hand for all 3).  Cut out a turkey neck and head piece.  Cut out a triangle beak.  Glue the 3 hands and feathers together, and set aside.  Glue the beak and put eyes on turkey head.  Glue turkey neck and head on top of feathers.
